My current research explores how social media – particularly TikTok and Instagram – shapes political consciousness and collective identity through visual, affective, and performative practices.

Over the years, I’ve been drawn to the question of what it means to be a person in the world: how we become who we are, how closeness or alienation are formed, and what connects us to one another.

I’m especially interested in the intersections of consciousness, community, and digital space – out of a quiet desire to better understand, even just a little, how life takes shape.

Before entering academia, I worked in a variety of fields: entrepreneurship, creative projects, and time abroad.

These were years of movement, searching, and observation – sometimes surprising, often formative. They laid the groundwork for the questions I carry with me today.

In 2019, I was in a severe multi-system accident, followed by a long rehabilitation process at Beit Loewenstein.

During this time, I had the privilege of completing my BA studies and continued to look for ways to get back into my body and my life, and the ability to ask questions out of gentleness and curiosity.

I’m married, live between languages and cultures, and am the daughter of immigrant parents.

Alongside my research, I give talks and facilitate conversations on themes that are woven through my life: media and identity, belonging, community, permaculture, healing, and simple living.
